Information We Collect
We collect several types of information to provide and improve our grocery delivery services to you:
- Personal Identifiable Information: Name, phone number, email address, gender, and the delivery addresses and landmark details you save during account creation or checkout.
- Location Data: With your permission, your device’s precise location, used to check whether your area falls inside our Belagavi delivery zone and to pre-fill a delivery address. You can decline this and enter your address manually.
- Photos: If you attach a photo to a support query, we access only the images you explicitly select from your photo library or capture with your camera. We do not browse or upload your library.
- Transaction & Order History: Items purchased, cart contents, chosen delivery slot, and order status history.
- Device & Technical Data: Device model, operating system, app version, and a push-notification token used to send you order updates.
- Diagnostics & Usage: Crash reports and in-app usage events, used to find and fix defects and to understand which features are used.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is processed for specific, legitimate operational purposes:
- To verify your phone number by one-time SMS code, which is how you sign in.
- To process, fulfill, and deliver your grocery orders accurately and on time.
- To send order confirmations and delivery status updates as push notifications.
- To respond to support queries, including any photo you choose to attach.
- To diagnose crashes, monitor errors, and improve app performance and reliability.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations and financial reporting requirements under Indian law.
Payments
All orders are pay-at-delivery: you pay by cash or UPI directly to the delivery person at your door. The app does not process online payments, and no payment gateway is involved. We never collect, transmit, or store card numbers, UPI PINs, CVVs, or bank credentials — the app has no facility to do so.
Data Sharing & Service Providers
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with our delivery staff and with the service providers that operate parts of the app on our behalf:
- Delivery Personnel: Your name, phone number, and delivery address are shared with the assigned delivery staff solely to fulfil your order.
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): Verifies your phone number by SMS one-time code, and delivers push notifications to your device.
- Google Maps Platform (Google LLC): Powers address search, geocoding, and the map shown on the address screens.
- Cloudinary: Stores images, including any photo you attach to a support query.
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.): Receives crash reports and error diagnostics. It is configured not to collect your IP address, and phone numbers and pincodes are stripped from the request URLs it records.
- PostHog: Receives in-app product analytics events.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, or a government authority in India.
Data Security & Retention
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. Your sign-in credentials are held in your device’s encrypted storage, and traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit.
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. Past orders and invoices are retained for as long as Indian tax and commercial law requires, even after an account is deleted — see Deleting Your Account below.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: open Profile, then Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and does not require contacting us.
If you have already uninstalled the app, you can still request deletion — the page below explains how, and lists in full what is erased and what we are required to keep.
Deleting your account immediately erases your name, email address, gender, phone number, every saved delivery address, your wishlist, your support queries, and all active sessions and push-notification tokens. What is retained:
- Past orders and invoices, together with the name and phone number each order was placed under. Indian tax and commercial law requires us to keep these records. They are no longer connected to any account that can be signed in to.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
User Rights
You have the right to access your personal data, correct it, and delete it. Your name, email, gender, and saved addresses can be viewed and edited in the app under Profile. Account deletion is available in the app as described above. For anything else, contact us using the details below.
